Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.  These terms apply to sale orders only.

YOUR CONTRACT

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order and that a contract has been made between us.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, that delivery will take longer than the stated time, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us unless you confirm in writing that you accept the changes.

If the goods are not available, we reserve the right to supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

Orders can be placed online by post or by e-mail.

DELIVERY

Delivery charges will be automatically added to your order during checkout.  The standard delivery charge per order is £3.95 for 2nd Class Recorded Delivery (insured up to £39), or £6.95 for Special Delivery (delivery by 1pm next working day, insured up to £500 or value of order, whichever is lowest). 

In the unlikely event that the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know within 24 hours. All goods are sent using a trackable delivery method and will require a signature upon receipt.

FAULTY ITEMS AND RETURNS

Cancellations are returns are accepted on sale orders within 7 days of receipt.  In the unlikely event that an item is found to be faulty,  please e-mail or write to us as notification of faulty items must be received in writing within 24 hours of receipt before they will be accepted.

All goods must be returned to us at your own expense within 7 days of receipt.  You must ensure they are packaged adequately to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration we will charge you for the reduction in value.

IMPORTANT NOTE

All the items on this website are held in stock.  Because they may have been manufactured at different times, we are unable to guarantee a shade or detail match between items.  Wherever possible, we will send matching items.  If an exact match is crucial, all current items are available to order on our main website www.1-special-day.co.uk where we do guarantee a match as they will be made to order.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These terms were last changed on 01/01/10. These terms apply to your order. We may change or terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
